Hey,
Sorry I haven't updated but I'm gonna start updating it more.
So to start off again I'm going to be talking about my experience with racing cloud ride wheels made by DB longboards. They come in 2 designs prebroken in and fresh and come in 70mm and 77a,80a,and 83a
I raced a set of the 70mm 80a freerides at the Cathlamet Downhill Corral and loved em, they had a very clean and not choppy slide. I was impressed! I can not usually slide a fresh wheel cleanly. Another thing I noticed about them was there beveled lips which I personally like in a wheel. They griped well around the right corner that we where going 30mph around. I also liked the fact that they did not wear very much in the 5 runs I did. In this last week of summer I'm going to try freeride them and wear them down so I can give you some insight on how they are for freeride. I would recommend the freeride for someone who wants to downhill at first and then be able to freeride but if all you want to do is slide then grab yourself a set of the slides. I would say they feel like mini monsters with a nicer sliding thane IMO.
Overall Cloud Rides are great wheels and I would recommend you grab a set from DB Longboards or Motionboardshop for the price of $47.95
Photo cred to Motion Boardshop.
